Playing in the park

Well, my life isn't very exciting. I usually get up at about seven thirty. Then I get washed and dressed. After that I have breakfast. The school bus arrives at about eight thirty and gets to school at ten to nine. School lasts until three forty five and then I usually hang around with my mates for a while. We have a kick-around or a game-of-five-a-side in the park. I get back home for dinner, - normally at seven. After that I do my homework and watch TV for a bit. I normally go to bed at about ten-thirty or eleven, but I often read until midnight.

At the cinema

A: Excuse me, I’m doing a market survey. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions about you and your family’s leisure activities?
B: Sure.

A: Great, thanks. Erm, how often do you go to a sports centre?
B: Oh, I’m not sure - about (1) a month.

A: Ok, and how often do your parents go to a sport centre?
B: They go (2) Sunday.

A: Right. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
B: Yes – a sister. She doesn’t go to a sports club (3) often – she probably goes about (4) a month.

A: Ok, and how often do you go to the cinema?
B: Not very (5) – maybe once a (6) .

A: And your parents?
B: Erm – they don’t go at all – they like hiring a video.

A: And your sister?
B: Oh she goes a (7) – she’s a film buff. She loves Bollywood films!

A: Right. Last question. How often do you go to a disco or a nightclub?

B: Oh, a lot! Three (8) a month.

A: And your parents?
B: Well, they go to a Salsa club (9) . My sister (10) goes to nightclubs – she doesn’t like dancing.

A: Ok, that’s it! Thanks a lot!

Here is a humorous example of my own life:

I wake up at about seven oclock every weekday. Then I stop the horribly loud alarm clock Angry emoticon, and go on sleeping for ten minutes until the alarm clock explodes again. The explosion makes me get up quickly Wacko emoticon, and after that, I go to the bathroom to have a shower. Ah, the hot shower! Smiling emoticon Then I have a quick breakfast and leave for school. I take a crowded bus, then I walk for ten minutes, and I finally arrive at my dear school, where my students are waiting for me with their open arms winking emoticon Hey, I forgot to get dressed after the shower!! Tongue emoticon

Because he/she looks, congratulation for so good greeting being so slight of clothes. That of seven in the morning, the bus and the quick breakfast is what I find but I last of the topic, but... My schedule of work is completely opposed; I work from two to eight of the afternoon, I don't get up early, I go to bed late and I eat at home before leaving. The not agreement of common labor schedules in my half labor one, the school means, it has not been chosen by me, but I have caught him the " tranquillo " (this if that Globalink doesn't translate it)... and I like it.

Saludos, bonita actividad.... aunque Globalink haga barbaridades.

o sea:

Greetings, beautiful activity.... although Globalink makes atrocities.

This is Javier Escajedo's everyday life.

Javier EscajedoJavier doesn't often get up early because he starts work after lunch, at two o'clock in the afternoon. He is a teacher and his students are young boys and girls. He likes teaching them how to use computers and they learn a lot. Javier has got a web page for children and his students usually take part in the activities he prepares. They sometimes write comments and make podcasts on this blog. After six hours of hard work, Javier usually goes back home, has dinner, and works with his computer until he goes to sleep on his chair, like a child. Smiling emoticon

Smiling emoticon

- I have read your comments with a computer translator. I don't know English but somehow I look for myself the life with the technological tools. As this it is English's accent class the comment in English comanche", that is to say, that of my translator. Your comments about your weekends or other days remind me my old times of student. We made very similar things; our sandwiches, the cinema and the disco. Our class works, the institute mornings and some sports or games, as the letters or the chess that I also practiced a time. You live now those things in the way but natural. I do now everything it with a lot of affection and some nostalgia. Greetings for all and all.

My life is a monotony between the school, the homework, the friends...

I am in the habit of getting up at seven o'clock. Later, I go to the bath to have a shower and then I return to my room to dress. Then, having breakfast, combing my hair... occupy all my morning. When I come to school I am in the habit of speaking with my friends before beginning the endless classes. When the bell rings, it indicates the end of the classes, I return home by car. After eating, I connect to the Internet and then I do my homework. When I finish, I read or watch TV. Finally, I have dinner, have a shower and go to bed.

The teacher Your composition is OK, Sonia, but there were some mistakes which I corrected. Well done.

I was born in Madrid in a cold winter. I'm 15 years old and I have lived all my life in Villalba. When I was a child I went to the school opposite my house and now I go to the high-school near my house. I live with my parents Raquel and Juan Luis and my brother Luismi. My grandparents live in Galicia and I usually go all summers to visit them. I like going out with my friends and playing basketball. Also, I like watching TV. I hate people who speak badly of other people. When I am older, I want to be a mechanic in my father's garage.

The teacherYour composition is very good, Víctor. There were only a couple of mistakes. Very well done.

Paula lived in Argentina because she was born there. When she was seven years old, she travelled to Spain.

María was born in "Fundación Jimenez Díaz" in Madrid. Now she lives in Villalba, a town near Madrid and the montains.

We go to Maria Guerrero high school all days (Monday to Friday). We get up at half past seven. We do our homework all evenings. Paula is repeating the 3º curse, but María isn't, because she is very inteligent.

We have a exchange with Luca Pacioli high school in Crema (Italia). Paula travelled there last year, and María will travel this year.

We don't have more ideas. Thanks!

Bye!
